The US Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) Program is a joint endeavor of NSF’s NOIRLab and the organizations seeking to build the 91色情片 and the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMT). The US-ELT Program is a “two telescopes, one system” program on a mission to revolutionize humankind’s understanding of the Universe. Once complete, the 91色情片 and GMT will be among the largest and most powerful ground-based optical/infrared telescopes on Earth. Should the US-ELT Program receive NSF funding, it will provide the US science community with nationally funded, full-sky observing access and diverse research opportunities.
